and through a Milton Keynes Community Foundation grant.
THE WOBURN SANDS BAND
The Woburn Sands Band exists to provide a focal point for brass band music in the Milton Keynes area. The Band provides the facility, for those interested, to learn to play a brass band instrument. There are currently over 80 members of the Band, playing in 4 different band groups. The photograph below shows the 'A' Band and was taken at the 38th concert in the Drakeloe Series at The Stables Theatre, Wavendon, in October 2006.
The Band is registered as a charity, number 266275, and is self-supporting. We are always grateful for support, and welcome your donations.
